ABOUT LEILA R. MAY

Leila went to the prestigious Art Center College Of Design in Pasadena, California. She received her BFA in Photography within 3 years. She was the youngest in her class, eager and energized to compete in the world of commercial photography. Leila has photographed for clients such as, Travel and Leisure Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Shape Magazine, Westways Magazine, Colin Cowie Lifestyles among others in her 15 year career.

She was introduced to event photography while working on a cookbook project with Colin Cowie. He had her photograph celebrity parties and events, including Bruce Willis 40th birthday party. A wonderful and rewarding experience for her.

Her focus is solely now on her growing wedding and event photography business. The goal of Artful Wedding Photography is to capture the beauty, emotion and nuance of the day with creativity and fun. Leila and her team focus’s on making you feel comfortable by being accessible and open to you and your needs before, during and after the big day.
